A country I'd like to visit (someday)
I’d like to go to Croatia, though I know hardly anything about its culture, its people and its history. Moreover, I’m not sure if I could point it correctly on a map. I can imagine that it’s a beautiful country, with lots of hills, some castles and nice scenery, enhanced by the Adriatic Sea. The father of my father was born in that country, and maybe there’s some lost relatives to meet over there. If I ever visit Croatia, I would firstly look for someone who speaks Spanish or —in the worst case— English, because Croatian is a highly complicated language. Afterwards I’d look for people who had known my family, so I might get free accommodation —not bad at all. Finally I would visit as much cities as possible and spend a lot of money, in case that I have. Anyway, I think of it just as a vacation, an expensive one for sure, but I wouldn’t move to live or work there. Actually, I wouldn’t change my country for living, studying or working in any other, mostly because of my profession, which doesn’t allow me to work in foreign systems easily. I don’t complain though, because I’m not the kind of people who enjoy traveling. I barely know my own country, and I think it’s a nice place to start visiting.
